Myanmar Passport Office ensures normal processing amid misinformation of irregularities

The Myanmar Passport Office stated on 20 February that passport applications are being processed and issued as usual.
They also announced that they would take action against brokers and individuals who demand large sums of money for passport services.
Despite misinformation suggesting otherwise, the office clarified that passports would continue to be issued following the existing procedures and approved quotas.
Additionally, the Passport Office conducts online reservations via QR codes, processing around 2,700 reservations daily. Passport services are available at various branches across different cities in Myanmar, including Nay Pyi Taw, Myitkyina, Mandalay, and others. — TWA/MKKS
