Myanmar promotes culture, tourism at ASEAN Festival in KL

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Myanmar delegates have held an exhibition promoting culture and tourism at the ASEAN Festival 2023 by ASEAN state embassies in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and GenYouth Sdn Bhd jointly organized the festival with four categories: culture, tourism, food and ASEAN Street (an exhibition). It is scheduled from 30 November to 3 December at the LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre. Deputy Secretary-General Mr Mohd Yusri bin Yusoff of the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture gave an opening speech at the festival. U Aung Soe Win, Myanmar’s Ambassador to Malaysia, ASEAN ambassadors, diplomats and invitees attended the celebration. — ASH/NT
