Myanmar sends over 270 workers to S Korea under EPS in Dec

The Myanmar Embassy in Seoul announced that on 26 December, 271 Myanmar national workers were dispatched to the Republic of Korea under the Employment Permit System (EPS).
Workers comprise 208 manufacturing workers and 63 re-entry workers through the government overseas employment agency, and they arrived at Incheon International Airport on the same day.
This marks the second batch of production workers sent to South Korea in December, with an additional of 150 workers dispatched on 19 December.
From January to November, Myanmar sent over 9,000 workers to South Korea, as reported by the government’s overseas employment agency. — TWA/ MKKS
