With Myanmar head coach Velizar Popov absent from the sidelines after his red card on Saturday, Vietnam tried to find more dangerous attacks but the Myanmar side back was strong enough to clear the opponent’s chances.

Viet Nam gets a freekick in the right flank at 59 minutes and Nguyen Hai Long crosses to Ho Thanh Minh to head it in 1-0 for Viet Nam.
Myanmar increase firepower with two substitutions in the 66 minutes to get their equalizer.
Hoang Anh of Viet Nam is hit in the face by Myanmar’s Aung Wunna Soe at 80 minutes and the referee gave the Myanmar player a straight red card and team Myanmar was down to 10 men.
Viet Nam stayed strong till the final minutes to maintain their 1-0 win over Myanmar.
