Myanmar to play host Viet Nam in Viet Nam’s U-19 Invitational Championship

The 2022 Viet Nam U-19 Invitational Tournament organized by the Viet Nam Football Federation has come out, and the Myanmar team will start playing against the host Viet Nam.
The competition will be held from 5 to 11 August, and Southeast Asian countries: host Viet Nam, Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmar teams will compete in the Championship.
Group matches will be played on 5, 7, and 9 August.
Two games will be held per day, and the third match and the final will be held on 11 August.
According to the fixture, Malaysia faces Thailand, and Myanmar meets host Viet Nam on 5 August.
Myanmar will take on Thailand and Viet Nam will play Malaysia on 7 August.
On 9 August, Malaysia meet Myanmar and Thailand faces Viet Nam.
According to the format of the tournament, the two teams with the most points will play in the finals, and the teams ranked 3rd and 4th will play in the third round again.
The Viet Nam Football Federation is organizing the 2023 Asian Cup U-20 qualifiers for the Vietnamese team. Previously, the top Asian teams such as Japan and Saudi Arabia were listed to compete, but they withdrew and were replaced by the Malaysian and Thai teams.
