Myanmar men’s national football team will take on Japan national team today at Fuku-Ari Stadium in Chiba, Japan, for the 2022 World Cup Qualifier.
Myanmar is falling in Group F together with Japan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.
For the match against Japan, Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) has released a primary list of 24 players.
Coach Antoine Hey will head the Myanmar team.
Three goalkeepers: Ko Ko Naing (Hanthawady United), San Satt Naing (Yangon United) and Pyae Hlyan Aung (Yadanarbon) are seen in the Myanmar team list for the qualifiers.
Defenders are Zaw Ye Tun (Yadanarbon FC), Ye Yint Aung, Lar Din Mawra (Hanthawady United), David Htan (Shan United), Ye Min Thu (Shan United), Soe Moe Kyaw (Yangon United), Hein Htet Sithu (Yangon United) and Thein Than Win (Free Agent).
Midfielders are Yan Naing Oo, Maung Maung Lwin, Nyein Chan Aung, Lwin Moe Aung and Maung Maung Win from Yangon United, Tin Win Aung from Free Agent, Hlaing Bo Bo from Sukhothai FC, Myat Kaung Khant from Yadanarbon FC and Htet Phyo Wai from Shan United.
Strikers are Pyae Moe and Win Naing from Yangon United, Than Htet Aung from Ayeyawady United and Suan Lam Mang from Ranong United.
Myanmar team has scored six points in five matches and standing at fourth place while Japan has secured first in Group F with all wins of 15 points garnered in five games. — GNLM
