Myanmar traditional Thingyan festival for 1385 ME to take place on a grand scale

The Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC) stated that the Myanmar traditional Thingyan festival for 1385 ME will be held on a grand scale with performances and traditional Thingyan dance troupes by the artistes of the film, music, and theatrical industries.
The central Thingyan stage in Yangon will be erected in front of Yangon City Hall as usual, and Thingyan stages for the districts and townships will be set up in their respective locations. Furthermore, artistes will present performances for the public, who will enjoy and participate in the Thingyan festival.
Additionally, stages for water activities will be set up alongside the Thingyan entertainment stages, as the authorities plan to celebrate the upcoming traditional Thingyan festival on a large scale with various kinds of performances. — ASH/ TRKM
