Myanmar women’s team stands tenth place in Asia this month

The Myanmar women’s national football team is currently among the top ten Asian teams, with 46th world ranking and tenth place in Asia level, according to an announcement of the FIFA ranking this month.
Myanmar has taken 45th position in the world ranking last year, and now has decreased one ranking to 46th, with 1511 total points.
Also, two ASEAN football teams, Viet Nam and Thailand, are included in the top ten list.
Team Viet Nam is currently in sixth place among the best Asian teams, with a 32nd world ranking and 1,657 total points, while Team Thailand is following Viet Nam in seventh place, collecting 1,596 total points and 39th in the world ranking.
Australia is the second-best team in Asia, with 11th world ranking, while Japan is the third-best Asian team, with a world ranking of 13th.
North Korea’s team is currently the best among Asian teams, with 9th world ranking, and China’s team is the fourth-best in Asia, ranking 17th in the world.
Meanwhile, South Korea is in fifth place, ranked 18th in the world, and Chinese Taipei is in eighth place in Asia, ranked 40th in the world.
Uzbekistan team is above team Myanmar with ninth place and has garnered 43rd in the world and 1,537 points. —GNLM
