THE Chairman of the State Administration Council issued notifications 1/2022 and 2/2022 on conferring the titles in commemoration of the 74th Anniversary of Independence Day 2022 on 4 January 2022. The Notification 1/2022 consists of the religious titles that are conferred upon venerable members of the Sangha who are performing the duties of Buddhism which are Pariyatti (Buddha teaching) and Patipatti (Buddhist meditation) as well as upon the lay disciples who are supporting Buddhism by giving alms and donations and Notification 2/2022 honorary titles and medals. — MNA
