NPTDC to auction 43 business licences for revenue collection, operating pawnshops

The Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee has announced that 43 business licences for revenue collection and operating pawnshops will be auctioned in Nay Pyi Taw.
For the financial year 2024-2025, the committee’s Revenue Department will auction 43 business licences off. These licences will cover various operations, including six revenue collection licences and 37 pawnshop licences.
The revenue collection licences encompass the collection of Nay Pyi Taw entrance fees in Tatkon, Dekkhinathiri, and Oattarathiri townships, vehicle excess weight fees in Oattarathiri township, entrance fees for the Bawgathiri Highway Bus Terminal (which also includes fees for using toilets and bathrooms). Additionally, there will be 37 pawnshop licences available across eight townships.
The auction for these business licences is scheduled for 25 February at the meeting hall of the Markets Department under the committee. Interested parties must submit their applications by 13 February. Application forms, terms and conditions can be obtained from the Revenue Department of the committee during office hours. — TWA/TKO
