Old curriculum matriculation exam to be held for last time in 2023

The Department of Myanmar Examinations under the Ministry of Education on Tuesday announced that they will hold the matriculation exam in the old format and curriculums in 2023 for those who failed or did not sit for the exam in the last academic year.
The applications can be submitted between 1 and 30 September 2022 and the applicants have to pay K900 — K700 for a deposit stamp and K200 for the application form-to the Ministry of Education.
The headmasters of basic high schools, branch BEHS, Affiliated BEHS and private schools must pay the entrance fees and buy the stamps and stick the stamps on the application forms for the students and must submit them to the Department of Myanmar Examinations no later than the deadline, it added.
The external students can buy the stamps at the respective township education offices and pay the fee at these offices within the deadline. They must fill in the correct data in the application forms.
The applicants need to check their combination of subjects as they are not allowed to take the exam for different subjects except for the subjects mentioned in the cards, it said.
The application forms and stamps can be bought at Office No (52), Department of Myanmar Examinations (head office), Nay Pyi Taw and Myanmar Examinations Department, Parami street, No (12) Ward, Hlaing Township, University of Yangon (Hlaing Campus), Yangon. – TWA/GNLM
