In January, more than 300 Myanmar employees were sent to the Republic of Korea through the Public Overseas Employment Agency Employment Permit System (POEA-EPS), according to the Myanmar Embassy to the Republic of Korea.

Under the POEA-EPS system, a total of 303 new manufacturing workers—151 and 152 on January 10 and 31—were sent to the Republic of Korea last month.

When the Myanmar workers arrived at the Incheon International Airport of the ROK from Yangon, they were welcomed by the labour attaché from the Myanmar Embassy in Seoul, who informed the workers about the information and the regulations they should follow before providing them with necessary assistance.
