A grenade explosion committed by PDF terrorists at Koenawin Pagoda festival in Yundalingon Village of Bilin Township in Mon State killed one innocent civilian with four wounded persons.
Two PDF terrorists arrived at the pagoda festival at the football ground at 1:15 am on 22 December by a motorbike from Kawkadut Village. They exploded a grenade some 50 metres south of the football ground, leaving one innocent civilian dead and four others wounded.
Taungsun social welfare association sent the wounded to Bilin People’s Hospital for medical treatment, and security forces are taking necessary security measures for taking effective action against those terrorists and ensuring peace and stability in the region. — MNA/TTA
