The Ngwehsaung Beach, located in Ngwehsaung Town of Pathein District of Ayeyawady Region, was crowded with visitors on the second day of Thingyan (Akya).
The locals received a high income from the large crowd of visitors. According to the vendors, although the vendors did not earn well last year for declining visitors, their transitions are good again this year for heavy crowds.
The Ngwehsaung Beach received many visitors daily before the Thingyan holidays. The place was also packed with visitors on the second day of Thingyan (Akya).
Officials provided necessary measures to ensure travellers’ safety and inspected the vendors selling at the designated places and throwing rubbish systematically. — Ngwehsaung (IPRD)/GNLM
