People visit decorated floats show in Nay Pyi Taw

A large group of people visited the Tabaung ground in front of Uppatasanti Pagoda where the parade floats which joined the Diamond Jubilee Union Day Ceremony from Nay Pyi Taw, regions and states were parked yesterday.
The floats display the culture, traditions, living styles and local products of ethnic people and the students, government employees and residents can study there.
The visitors also took commemorative photos with the parade floats and ethnic dance troupes.
The ethnic cultural dance troupes also share their traditional and cultural related knowledge regarding their respective regions and states.
Mandalay and Sagaing regions dance troupes entertained the people with songs and dances including martial arts in front of the floats.

Moreover, the officials arranged traditional food fairs of ethnic people for the visitors.
A total of 46 floats and 20 booths of ethnic traditional foods were displayed between 8 am and 8 pm from 13 to 15 February. — Myo Set Thit/GNLM
