Police stop RSO insurgents from escaping into Myanmar territory

The security forces take security measures in Rakhine state and along the border with Bangladesh daily in order to ensure border security, community peace and stop illegal trespassing and drug trade.
When the police patrolled in Maungtaw area, and borderline yesterday, they found about 50 RSO terrorists attempting to enter Myanmar areas between border post No BP 51 and 52.
There was an attack between the police and terrorists.
The police seized the dead body of an RSO terrorists together with an M22 gun and other materials.
One of the security members was injured and taken to the military hospital in Buthidaung Town- ship.
The security members keep conducting security measures to ensure border security and community peace. – MNA
