Public cooperates to arrest gold shop robbers in Yangon

Security forces and the public cooperated to arrest one of five men trying to rob a gold shop with a gun yesterday morning in Mayangon Township, Yangon Region.
A total of five men came in front of the “Hla Thida” gold shop in Mayangon Township by Toyota Crown YGN 7D-8630 and attempted to rob the jewellery in the shop by threatening with a gun.
The staff and security personnel surrounded and tried to arrest them. Four men escaped by the same car and one was arrested with a pistol and 8 rounds of ammunition.
Wai Yan, who was arrested due to the cooperation of the people, will be investigated and effective action will be taken in accordance with the law, and the security forces have accelerate the search to arrest the fugitives who attempted to rob the gold jewellery by threatening with a gun.—MNA
