Public rental housing in Dagon Myothit (South) Tsp to be completed in March

Public rental housing which includes over 1,900 apartments will be completed in Dagon Myothit (South) Township in March.
As the first phase, 121 buildings with 1,936 apartments will be completed in March 2023 in the public rental housing construction project currently under construction. After the completion of this project, the local grassroots will be able to live comfortably. Priority is being given to facilitation of the water and electric supply.
The 194 rental housing projects in Yangon are currently implemented by the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Federation (MCEF) and Myanmar Licenced Contractors Association (MLCA). The housing projects are implemented in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon and Mandalay to provide accommodation for civil servants, retired employees, and low-income people. As the first phase of public rental housing projects (10,000 apartments), 28 buildings in Nay Pyi Taw, 194 buildings in Yangon and 91 buildings in Mandalay are constructed with the 2022-2023 Union budget.— TWA/KZW
