Region Advocate-General instructs district law officers to give advices for cases under the law

U Htay Aung, the Advocate-General of Yangon Region on 3 September stressed the need for district law officers to correctly advise the cases under the law at the coordination meeting among law officers from 14 district law offices newly established in Yangon Region.
“District law offices are newly opened, so they may face many difficulties, but these difficulties must be successfully overcome. Special attention needs to be paid to ensuring that cases should be advised correctly in accordance with the law. Those law officers need to cooperate with relevant departments at the district level,” said the Region Advocate-General.
The four district courts are revoked, and new 14 district courts are formed on 17 August by the statement of Chief Justice of the Union.
With the approval of the Union Government Meeting No 5/2022 held on 29 July 2022, the organizational setups of the District Courts were confirmed in order to carry out judicial activities in the districts. —TWA/GNLM
