Registration approved for 1,888 EV passenger cars, light trucks

As per the Department of Road Transport Administration, 1,877 private electric vehicles and 11 electric light trucks were registered in 2023.
The Steering Committee on National-level Development of Electric Vehicles and Related Accessories revealed that despite aiming to import approximately 30,000 electric vehicles as part of a pilot project, only over 1,800 electric vehicles were imported in 2023. — TWA/KZW
