Rehabilitation materials transported to Sittway, Rakhine State

Under the guidance of the National Disaster Management Committee and management of the Work Committee on Transport and Communications, rehabilitation materials are being sent to Rakhine State by air, water and land.
MV Royal Venus, carrying 2,455 tonnes of foodstuffs, edible oil, medical supplies and equipment, construction materials and five small vehicles donated by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, left the Myanmar Terminal (TMT) for Sittway yesterday evening.
From 16 May 2023 to date, 42 vessels, including military vessels, delivered a total of 64,676 tonnes of relief materials, including construction equipment, electrical equipment, medicine and health equipment, consumer goods and food, and 249,762 gallons of diesel, 199,886 gallons of 92 Octane have been delivered to Sittway, Rakhine State. — MNA/TKO
