1. The government has been conducting relief measures on taxation to help ease the pain for businesses affected by COVID-19 pandemic and made an exemption for the 2 per cent advance income tax on exports from 1.4.2020 to 31.1.2021.
2. There are still socio-economic impacts of COVID-19 pandemic, and the exemption for the 2 per cent advance income tax on exports will be extended to 28 February 2021 according to the permission of the State Administration Council.
