Russian tourists to explore 14 destinations on Fam tour in Oct

The FAM trip for Russian tourists will start in October. A key goal of the tour is to promote the tourism market in Myanmar, and they will visit 14 destinations.
These 14 destinations are released by the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism for travellers to pay a visit to ancient cultural heritage zones and ecotourism sites on a priority.
Moreover, these areas include historic temples, stupas and ancient buildings, the culture and traditions of ethnic people, famous for their cultural heritage as well as natural landscapes in Myanmar. The preparations are made to welcome the travellers in these destinations — Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan, Ngwehsaung, Chaungtha, Ngapali, PyinOoLwin, Inlay, Kalaw-Taunggyi, Kawthoung, Kyaukpyu, Manaung and PutaO.
The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism highlights the unique destinations of each of these 14 destinations at its websites www.tourism.gov.mm and www.tourisminmyanmar.com. Although the open season is the best time to visit Myanmar, the country boasts unique places to welcome travellers the whole year round like the snow-capped Kachin mountains in the north, Bagan ancient cultural zone and Mount Popa in the central part, beautiful beaches such as Myeik Archipelago, Ngapali, Ngwesaung and Gwa in the south.
Moreover, the government eased the visa system and health restrictions for foreign travellers in the coming tourism season. — TWA/KTZH
