SAC Chair Office Ministry 2 UM meets staff of One-Stop Service Centre at Thilawa SEZ

Union Minister for the State Administration Council Chairman’s Office Ministry-2 U Aung Naing Oo, in his capacity as Chairman of the Myanmar Special Economic Zone Central Working Committee, inspected the One-Stop Service Centre and met with the staff at Thilawa Special Economic Zone in Yangon yesterday.
During his meeting with the staff of the One-Stop Service Centre, the Union Minister discussed the history of Thilawa SEZ, the role of SEZs in the state’s economic growth, and the proper ways to address the current challenges.
He then emphasized the need for respective departments to offer better services to maintain the integrity of the SEZ, including expanding investments, conducting procedures by the management committee, and attracting new investments.
Following this, the Chairman of the Thilawa SEZ Management Committee and officials reported on administrative matters and addressing the challenges investors face, to the Union Minister who provided appropriate instructions. — MNA/KTZH
