SAC Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing hosts dinner for Chief of Defence Forces of Royal Thai Armed Forces, currently in Myanmar to attend 8th High-Level Committee Meeting

State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla hosted a dinner for Chief of Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces General Chalermphon Srisawasdi and wife together with delegation members who arrived here to attend the 8th High-Level Committee Meeting between Myanmar and Thai armed forces hosted by Myanmar at Pristine Mermaid Resort in Ngapali Beach in Thandwe of Rakhine State yesterday evening.
Also present at the dinner were Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, senior military officers from the Royal Thai Armed Forces and their wives, military attachés of both countries and their wives and officials.

The Senior General and wife warmly welcomed the Thai General, wife and party. The Senior General and the Thai Chief of Defence Forces extended greetings and had dinner together with those attendees.
Before and during the dinner, artistes from the Myawady Entertainment Troupe under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare and artistes from the Myanma Radio and Television under the Ministry of Information presented songs and dances.
After the dinner, the Senior General and wife, the Thai General and wife presented cash awards to the artistes and cordially greeted them. — MNA/TTA
