SAC Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla visit family water-throwing pavilion in PyinOoLwin Station

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla on the Akyat Day of 1383 ME Maha Thingyan festival yesterday viewed the participation of officers, other ranks and families in the water-throwing festival at the pavilions of training depots, regiments and units in PyinOoLwin Station.
At the pavilion of the families of the Tatmadaw Administration School in the morning, the Senior General, wife and party were welcomed by trainee officers, Tatmadaw members and families. The Senior General and wife viewed the joyful participation of Tatmadaw members and families with songs and choral dances in the festival and doused them.
At the pavilions of Tatmadaw Communications and Electronic School, PyinOoLwin Military Hospital and Tatmadaw Engineering School, the Senior General and wife watched the song and dance entertainment of choral dance troupes and enjoyment of Tatmadaw members and families in the water-throwing festival. They then splashed Thingyan water on the Tatmadaw members and families.
The Senior General and wife went to the Khatawmi family Thingyan pavilion in PyinOoLwin Station in the evening. They viewed the entertainment of family choral dance troupes and public participation in the Myanmar traditional Thingyan festival and doused the Tatmadaw members and families.
The Senior General and wife presented cash awards to Tatmadaw members and families who participated in the entertainments at the family pavilions and joyfully enjoyed the water-throwing festival together with Tatmadaw members and families. — MNA
