SAC Chairman PM Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Cambodian Ambassador to Myanmar

State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Mr Chum Angvichet, Cambodian Ambassador to Myanmar, who will return after completing his tour of duties, at the SAC Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they had a cordial discussion on friendly and diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Cambodia, mutual exchange of friendship visits, increasing cooperation in the trade sector, the tourism sector, social and cultural sectors and other sectors between the two countries, and the preparations for holding a free and fair multiparty general election in Myanmar.
After the meeting, SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and the Cambodian ambassador exchanged souvenirs.
The meeting was also attended by SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and officials alongside the Cambodian ambassador and embassy officials. — MNA/TS
