Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing yesterday morning viewed the training demonstration at the summer basic sports course conducted by Rakhine State Sports and Physical Education Committee at Danyawady Sports Ground in Sittway.
The Senior General viewed skill demonstrations of trainees in relevant sports events and presented foodstuffs for those trainees through two trainee representatives.
The Senior General gave necessary guidance on systematic measures of the sports ground and development of the sports sector.
The sports training course is being conducted from 1 March to 5 April for the physical development of youths with an accumulation of sports knowledge, for improvement of national sports standards and efficient use of summer holidays for the youths. A total of 1,820 trainees are under training for 16 sports events. — MNA/TTA
