SAC Chairman’s Trophy Inter-Ministry U-25 Men’s Football Tourney’s quarter-finals continue marking Diamond Jubilee Independence Day

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win enjoys quarter-final match of SAC Chairman’s Trophy Inter-Ministry U-25 men’s football tourney at Wunna Theikdi Stadium on 25 December.

In commemoration of the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, the State Administration Council Chairman’s Trophy Inter-Ministry Under-25 Men’s Football Tournament, organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, continued quarter-finals at Nay Pyi Taw Wunna Theikdi Stadium yesterday afternoon.
The tourney aims to improve the Myanmar’s football sports and produce many outstanding footballers.
In the quarter-finals, the Ministry of Home Affairs team beat the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement team 2-1, and the Sports and Youth Affairs Ministry team trounced the Ministry of Health team 6-1 at 5:30 pm.
Among the spectators were Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Myo Hlaing, Tatmadaw officers, officials and employees from relevant departments, Myanmar Football Federation officials and football fans in the quarter-finals.
The second day quarter-finals will be continued today with the matches of the Ministry of Planning and Finance team vs the Ministry of Construction team at 3 pm and Ministry of Commerce team vs the Ministry of Border Affairs team at 5:30 pm.
