SAC-conferred honorary titles presented

The State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister conferred honorary titles on recipients individually on 1 and 2 January in honouring the 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) Independence Day.
Yangon region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Nyunt Win Swe and officials offered the Sithu title to daughter Daw Nyein Nyein Myint on behalf of member of the Council of State U Tun Myat; Sithu title to daughter Daw Myat Maw Soe on behalf of member of the Council of State U Soe Myint (retired); the Sithu title to son U Maung Maung Soe on behalf of member of the Council of State U Soe Hlaing; the Sithu title to daughter Dr Khin Myo Han on behalf of writer Saya Zawgyi; the Sithu title to daughter Daw Marlar Aung on behalf of member of the Council of State U Tin Aung; the Thiri Pyanchi title to wife Daw San San Myint on behalf of Minister for Industry Maj-Gen Hla Myint Swe; the Thiri Pyanchi title to daughter Daw Thi Nwe Cho on behalf of Minister for Mining Colonel Maung Cho; the Thiri Pyanchi title to wife Daw Khin Sit Aye on behalf of Minister for Forestry U Aung Phone; the Thiri Pyanchi title to son U Saw Tun on behalf of Minister for Information U Nyo Tun (retired); the Thiri Pyanchi title to daughter Lt-Col San San Win on behalf of Minister for Health Colonel Win Maung (Rtd), the Thiri Pyanchi title to Union Minister Dr Aung Thu; the Thiri Pyanchi title to daughter Daw Myint Myint Aung on behalf of retired minister for industry Bo Khin Maung; the Thiri Pyanchi title to daughter Daw Khin Kyi on behalf of retired minister for cooperatives and trade U Tun Win; the Thiri Pyan Chi title to daughter Daw Chaw on behalf of minister Bo Sein Hman; the Thiri Pyanchi title to wife Daw Mya Than Tin on behalf of the retired minister for home affairs Thakin Tha Khin.
Similarly, one Zaya Kyaw Htin title, nine Wunna Kyaw Htin titles, six Alinka Kyaw Swa titles and two Theikpa Kyaw Swa titles were also offered to the recipients and family members. —MNA/KZW
