SAC Information Team holds 22nd Press Conference

The 22nd Press Conference of the Information Team in progress yesterday.

The 22nd Press Conference of the Information Team of the State Administration Council took place at the Ministry of Information yesterday. Leader of the Information Team Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, spokespersons of relevant departments and representatives of departmental information teams replied to queries raised by the media.
First, the Leader of the Information Team explained cabinet reshuffles, amendment of the five-point road map and political, economic and social objectives, political parties registration, losses in Mocha and rehabilitation processes and discussions between Under Secretary General Mr Martin Griffiths of UNOCHA through a PowerPoint presentation.
Then, Vice-Governor of Central Bank of Myanmar Dr Lin Aung, Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Maung Maung Win, Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Wah Wah Maung and the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Commerce U Min Min gave explanations about their respective sectors.
Then, the Leader of the Information Team and representatives of the departmental information team replied to queries raised by media personnel and the press conference was concluded.
The press conference was also attended by SAC’s information team members, representatives of relevant ministries, officials from the Tatmadaw Information Team, guests, and reporters from local news agencies, daily newspapers, local TV stations, and local-based foreign news agencies.
