SAC member MoHA Union Minister makes inspection tours in Maungtaw of Rakhine State

Union Minister Lt-Gen Soe Htut views the accommodations of police force members and their families.

State Administration Council member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut inspected the security measures of the Myanmar Police Force conducted in Kyeekanpyin, Zinpaingnya, Myinloot, Inndin and Kyeinchaung areas in Maungtaw District of Rakhine State including the unit building tasks, welfare, agriculture and breeding operations and met their family members in the second week of January.
During the visit, the officials explained the security measures for border areas, region and unit-building tasks and the Union minister instructed peace and tranquillity, rule of law including the illegal Bengali, trade, drug eradication and communication.
Then, the Union minister met the families of security forces separately and talked about the current security measures, the emergence of the SAC, activities carried out in line with the 2008 Constitution, preparations to conduct a fair and justice election stated in the five-point roadmap of SAC, the needs to serve the duties showing the loyalty to the country in accordance with the directives of the Head of the State and national objectives, relevant duties of Police Force for the prosperity of the country and food security and other matters.
The Union minister also inspected the accommodations and instructed them to operate agriculture and livestock breeding, live in unity and carry out security, and he provided cash assistance.
Then, the Union minister had lunch and dinner together with police force members and their families and watched the performance of their family members and provide cash assistance.
During the meeting with ward and village tract administrators, district-level departmental heads and towns elders in Maungtaw District, the Union minister discussed the access to water, road communication, vote, education and health-related matters, district-level inter-departmental cooperation, ethics to be followed by government servants and other matters.
The Union minister also checked the Kanyin Chaung Economic Zone and Myanmar-Bangladesh border fence construction work in the Myinloot area.
During the meeting with Rakhine State government officials in Sittway, the Union minister gave proper instructions based on the presentations of departmental heads, ward and village tract administrators and border guard forces. — MNA/KTZH
