SAC member Union Minister Lt-Gen Soe Htut receives Thai Ambassador Mr Mongkol Visitstump yesterday.

Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut, a member of the State Administration Council, received the delegation led by Mr Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at the parlour of the Ministry of Home Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
They cordially exchanged views on the rule of law between the two countries, combatting transnational crimes, prevention and suppression of human trafficking, drug control, capacity-building of the Myanmar Police Force and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Maj-Gen Soe Tint Naing and Deputy Minister and Chief of Myanmar Police Force Maj-Gen Zin Min Htet also attended the meeting. — MNA/MKKS
