SAC Members encourage education in Lashio

State Administration Council Members U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw, along with Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye and officials, met faculty members at Lashio University in Shan State (North) yesterday.
U Shwe Kyein stressed the importance of teachers nurturing well-rounded, educated individuals capable of contributing to the country’s development. SAC members provided financial support to several educational institutions in Lashio, and respective rectors and principals recevied the contributions.
They also visited No 1 Basic Education High School, where U Yan Kyaw emphasized the crucial role of education in the nation’s political, economic, agricultural, and livestock sectors, encouraging teachers to inspire students and foster their happiness and intelligence.
Township education officers received financial contributions from SAC members and the Shan State chief minister. Additionally, they visited the Lashio Council of Churches, where reverend bishop Father George offered prayers. — MNA/TH
