SAC members, Union Ministers enjoy quarterfinals of SAC Chairman’s Trophy U-18 women’s football Tourney

The SAC Chairman’s Trophy U-18 women’s football tournament quarterfinals to mark the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023 in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Physical Education under the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Myanmar Football Federation, were held at 3:00 pm yesterday at Training Ground No 1 and No 3 of Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw with the aim of raising the standard of Myanmar football and producing many talented new generations (female) football players from the states and regions.
SAC members U Khin Maung Swe, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, U Sai Lone Seng, Saw Daniel, Dr Banyar Aung Moe and wife, and U Shwe Kyein, Union ministers, deputy ministers, football fans and officials enjoyed the tourney.
In the quarterfinals held at Training Ground No.1 of Wunna Theikdi Stadium, the Ayeyawady Region team beat the Sagaing Region team 4-0, while the Shan State team beat Magway Region team 7-1 at Training Ground No 3.
The Mandalay Region team will take on the Bago Region team at Training Ground No.1, and the Yangon Region team will face the Kachin State team at Training Ground No.3 in the other Quarterfinals to be held on 13 December.
