SAC members, Union ministers open airport park to hail Diamond Jubilee Kachin State Day

As a gesture of hailing the Diamond Jubilee Kachin State Day celebration that falls on 10 January 2023, members of the State Administrative Council and Union Ministers opened the Nanbao Airport Park in Myitkyina yesterday morning.
Firstly, the airport park was opened by SAC members U Sai Lon Seng, U Moung Har and U Shwe Kyein, Union Ministers Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and U Hla Moe and Northern Command Commander Maj-Gen Ko Ko Maung. SAC member Jeng Phang Naw Taung and State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan unveiled the signboard of the park. After that, they visited the airport park.
The Kachin State Government will open the celebration of the Diamond Jubilee Kachin State Day with traditional Manaw dance at Myitkyina City on 9 January. And Myanmar Traditional Lethwei event will be held marking the state day. On 10 January, the Kachin State Day will be observed with the message reading ceremony on Diamond Jubilee Kachin State Day, departmental booths along with traditional Manaw dance, domestic product booths and sport competitions. A ceremony to present honorary medals and records to the recipients will be held for their excellent performance in the development of the state.
