The State Administration Council awarded the honorary titles and medals under Order No 211/2022 issued on 17 November 2022 (National Victory Day). According to the order, the honorary medals for gallantry and outstanding performance of the persons from the units/departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs were conferred in Nay Pyi Taw, regions and states respectively yesterday.
While the SAC is presenting honorary titles/medals to civil servants/public servants who make efforts in building a peaceful, developed and modern country, titles and medals are conferred to the staff under the Ministry of Home Affairs as they perform security measures and the rule of law regardless of the risk of their lives applying their uttermost abilities with full of adventures and also for carrying out duties for the peace and tranquillity and rule of law with endeavours and perseverance, model performance for the entire Myanmar Police Force.
The deputy minister for Home Affairs, the police chief of the Myanmar Police Force, respective regional and state ministers, the chairpersons of district administrative bodies and members and township administrators conferred honorary medals to recipients at respective locations.
A total of 129 recipients – 58 recipients from the Myanmar Police Force, 61 recipients from the General Administrative Department, one recipient from the Bureau of Special Investigation, six recipients from the Prison Department and three recipients from the Fire Services Department received Ye Thiha, Ye Thura, Ye Bala, Ye Kyawthu badges and Excellent Performance in Management (First) at the events. — MNA/KTZH
