Sagaing Region to open Kadu Traditional Cultural Museum in Bamauk

U Than Naing, secretary of the Kadu Traditional Literature and Culture Committee, announced the upcoming opening of the Kadu Traditional Cultural Museum in Bamauk, Sagaing Region.
The construction of the museum building has been completed, and efforts are underway to collect ancient traditional materials of the Kadu people, which will be showcased in the museum to enhance its capacity to narrate the history of these artifacts.
U Than Naing mentioned, “Currently, we are working on exhibiting the traditional materials still in use by the Kadu people. Additionally, we aim to present the ancient tools and utensils of the Kadu people in the museum.”
The museum is slated to open in early 2024, offering visitors a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the Kadu community. — ASH/TRKM
