School Enrolment Day for 2022-2023 Academic Year inaugurated in Nay Pyi Taw

The School Enrolment Day event for the 2022-2023 Academic Year in progress in Nay Pyi Taw.

The School Enrolment Day ceremony for the 2022-2023 Academic Year was held at B.E.H.S No 6 in Zabuthiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the ceremony, Union Minister Dr Nyunt Pe said the school enrollment week for this year is set from 26 May to 1 June. The basic schools across the nation will be open at the same time on 2 June and the teaching processes will be conducted.
The ministry also makes efforts in producing skilled intellectuals and offering equal learning opportunities for all school-age children. It also targets for all school-age children to complete (KG+9) (middle school) and to join the vocational training schools and also learn higher education.
The Grade-5, Grade-8 and Grade-11 students have to study new curriculums in the 2022-2023 Academic Year and it also conducted refresher courses on new curriculums for respective subject teachers. All should participate in the development of education for students as per the motto of school enrolment day “Every school-age child should enrol for learning opportunities”.
Then, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr Maung Maung Naing remarked and handed over the textbooks, stationeries and school uniforms to officials. Sein Shwe Mya, Mya Shwe Kaung, and Golden Style construction companies also donated 1,200 dozen books to MoE Deputy Minister U Zaw Win.
The school enrolment week is from 26 May to 1 June and the students’ parents enrol their children at basic education schools across the nation. — MNA
