Myanmar women’s national football team will play against host Viet Nam in the semifinal of the SEA Games women’s football event today.
Similarly, Thailand will take on the Philippines at 3:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time, while the Myanmar team’s match will be played at 6:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time.
As Myanmar finished second in the group, they will face Viet Nam in the semifinals and will have to work harder to reach the final.
With Viet Nam as the host and defending champions, Myanmar will need to show good form as a whole and take advantage of the attacking opportunities.
The main striker Win Theingi Tun has scored in all three group matches, which is satisfying for the Myanmar team and she needs to score more important goals in this match, a football expert said. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
