Security forces seize weapons in Chan Aye Thazan Township

Suspects and those who kept Weapons and ammunition equipment were arrested in Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay Region on 12 July.
According to the report, the security forces in Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay Region inspected the PVC pipe hidden in the garbage dump to the north of a house owned by Nay Lin Aung (alias) Arr Gwayt.
Two more handbags and 13 hand grenades made of steel pipes were also found and seized inside the house.
Police charged Nay Lin Aung (alias) Arr Gwayt and Lwin Moe (alias) Lin Lu for keeping the weapons and ammunition equipment.
Those arrested will face severe legal actions, and investigations are underway to capture the rest of the suspects, officials said. —MNA
