Security measures should not disturb freedom of people who are not concerned with terrorist acts: Senior General

It is necessary to make consideration in all aspects for rapid implementation of the work process which can win the trust between the leaders and followers, strengthening the good governance system, said Chairman of the Security, Peace and Stability and Rule of Law Committee Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the meeting 5/2021 of the committee of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at the Office of the State Administration Council Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
In his opening address, the Senior General stressed the need to thoroughly hold discussions and give suggestions on situations in conformity with the country. It is necessary to review all aspects of State prosperity which comprises peace and stability, the rule of law, job opportunities and businesses. Taking of important measures should be based on laws and disciplines. Local authorities need to systematically scrutinize the necessary measures under the law.

They all should consider the fulfilment of primary requirements of the regions whether these are actually required or not.
Myanmar is on the path of a multiparty democracy under the Constitution. International relations must conform to the actual situation of the nation as well as the Constitution and existing laws. It is necessary to initiate the rules, orders and directives in conformity with the actual situations. The management system and administrative system must be simplified. As such, it can contribute to the implementation of good governance and the development of the nation.
It can be seen that cooperation among ministries is weak among them. Only when the leaders of work projects need the prescribed rules and regulations, work procedures and laws, will their capability improve. So, they all need to operate the tasks with goodwill. It is necessary to carry out all the tasks in a rapid manner, and it is necessary to make consideration in all aspects for rapid implementation of the work processes which can win the trust between the leaders and followers.
State Administration Council members, Union ministers, chief ministers and deputy ministers reported on respective sectors, security measures, peace and stability and rule of law.
In his response to the reports, the Senior General said although some EAOs are involved in the terror acts, most of the EAOs do not accept it. These measures are being managed without harming the peace process as much as possible. The security measures should not disturb the freedom of people who are not concerned with terrorist acts.
It is necessary to consider the drawing of necessary law and rules for ensuring traffic safety for motorcycles. The Senior General stressed the need for future potentials of extended reclamation of urban areas. Essential structures such as schools, hospitals and sports grounds must be built systematically in addition to the beautifying of the urban areas in growing the shade plants and windbreaks in the road areas. — MNA
