All countries possessing industrial power become developed nations. To have industrial power, these countries need to apply modern technologies in the manufacturing sector with creativity.
Today’s Myanmar government implements the policies for ensuring the prosperity and food sufficiency of the nation. Being an agro-based country, Myanmar should emphasize agricultural and livestock farming to have food sufficiency.
It was reported that those engaging in the production of foods account for 70 per cent of the total population of the country. Export products in the agricultural and livestock sectors earn the largest amount of foreign exchange among other sectors. As such, only when the production of agriculture and livestock industries increases, will rural people have to enjoy the high living standard.
Local people should not be satisfied with operating the traditional livestock breeding techniques with more efforts to apply advanced technologies. Consequently, their production will increase, building a prosperous country.

As Myanmar is rich in natural resources, it is necessary to have the creativity for manufacturing the finished goods with the use of raw materials from the natural resources. Only when industrial productivity is high will the people have a high living standard. The entire people should enthusiastically focus on product promotion and enhancement of industrial capability, aimed at serving their interests and the State interests.

Factories manufacturing products at home need natural gas while the agricultural sector requires fertilizers. Fertilizers are produced with the use of natural gas. Hence, the government adopts energy policies for ensuring efficient use of natural gas at home.
Offshore and inland blocks produce natural gas for export purposes as well as domestic use. Natural gas is used in generating electricity. Wind energy can be generated in coastal areas in addition to renewable energy such as hydropower and solar power.
To develop a stable market economy and invite international investment, the government is striving for the enhancement of the economic development of the entire national people. Production of businesses needs electricity, natural gas, raw materials and transport system.
