Shwe Pyi Tan express water vessels suspended because of weather condition

The water vessels have been suspended because it is raining continuously every day, and there can break out the river flooding in Kyaukse town, Rakhine State.

The schedules of Shwe Pyi Tan express water vessels operating Sittway-Taungup town, Kyauk pyu town every week have all been suspended starting from 11 June because of bad weather condition, according to the Shwe Pyi Tan office agent.
The water vessels have been suspended because it is raining continuously every day, and there can break out the river flooding in Kyaukse town, Rakhine State.
Shwe Pyi Tan express water vessels operate Sittway-Yambye-Kyauknimaw-Taungup routes from Kyaukpyu town on Tuesdays and Fridays, Taungup. Kyauknimaw- Yambye- Kyauk pyu-Sittway town on Wednesdays and Saturdays, Sittway-Kyauk pyu-Taungup town on Sundays and Taungup-Kyuk pyu-Sittwaytown on Monday. Those vessels are running along those routes in line with the guidance of the COVID-19 rules and regulations set up by the Ministry of Health and Sports.
Currently, the water vessel schedules have been suspended because of the inclement weather. The continued service will depend on weather condition.
