Speech on peace delivered by SAC Chairman Prime Minister Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing supported

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered a speech on peace on 22 April 2022.
The speech stated that as plans were underway to hold meetings with the ethnic armed organizations-EAOs with the aim of restoring peace across the nation and ceasing armed conflicts in 2022 because ethnic people have not fully enjoyed the essence of Independence within 75 years yet after Myanmar had regained Independence, leaders and two members from each EAO were urged to attend the meetings. As the exhortation of the Senior General was an offer to grant the restoration of genuine and long-term existence of peace ethnic people aspire, the Myanmar Writers Association, the Myanmar Comedians Association (Central), the Myanmar Music Association (Central), the Young Men’s Buddhist Association (YMBA) and the Myanmar Press Council expressed their support to the speech respectively. — MNA
