State economic promotion fund contributes to enhance livestock breeding farms

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation is trying to reduce the commodity prices and trying to maintain stability while striving for high production of meat, eggs, milk and dairy products. Deputy Minister Dr Aung Gyi, Nay Pyi Taw Council member U Myint Soe and departmental officials met with the livestock farmers who operate their farms with the State economic promotion fund in Lewe Township, Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister discussed the taking care of bio-security in livestock farms and to improve the market-based agricultural produce. Nay Pyi Taw Council member U Myint Soe and officials also talked about the actions and processes of the livestock farming in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.
Then, they checked the progress of sugarcane research and technological development farm, sugarcane plantation, agricultural awareness raising activities for farmers. The Deputy Minister visited Hein Mahar broiler farm in Pantin Village and a fish farm in Thitkhaukkhwa Village. — MNA/TRKM
