State Pariyatti Sasana Universities in Yangon, Mandalay hold 29th graduation ceremony

The 29th graduation ceremony of the State Pariyatti Sasana Universities is in progress.

The 29th graduation ceremony of the State Pariyatti Sasana Universities Yangon and Mandalay took place at the convocation hall of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Yangon) on 27 December.
Academic/Administrative Head Sayadaws of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Yangon/Mandalay), led by the Vice-Chancellor of the State Pariyatti Sasana Universities, Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Bhaddanta Candhima Bhivamsa, along with recipient Sayadaws, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, and departmental officials, attended the event.
In this 29th ceremony, there were 28 recipients of BA (Buddhism), ten recipients of MA (Buddhism), and one recipient of PhD (Buddhism), making a total of 39 Sayadaws from the respective Sasana Universities.
The Union minister, the chief minister of Yangon Region, departmental officials, and well-wishers donated alms meals to the venerable Sayadaws and recipient Sayadaws. — TWA/ TMT
