State sells 455.75 ticals of gold coins

The State sold 455.75 ticals of gold coins to the people up till 16 September. Gold coins are sold at K2.8 million per tical, which is based on the world gold price, according to the SAC Information Team Leader Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun in the 20th press conference.
Gold coins are in different weights such as one tical, 0.5 tical, and 0.25 tical.
He also expressed there are no plans for other regions and states except for Nay Pyi Taw. Those who want to buy gold coins, need to show their CSC and have the right to buy cash down for one time only.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation are trading gold coins at K2.95 million per tical at the Gems Museum in Nay Pyi Taw beginning 5 September. —TWA/GNLM
