Statement on fake news

False sskm

1. The fake news pretended to be a press release issued by the Union Election Commission dated 12 May 2021 was posted on social network (Facebook). It says that all former Hluttaw representatives who competed in the 2020 general election may take out their election registration fee (deposit for joining the election) as of 1 June.

2. The Union Election Commission carries out tasks on the deposit for joining the election under the relevant Hluttaw rules 38. Such a statement was fake news, not released by the Union Election Commission.
