A combined team of anti-narcotics police inspected Myint Aye (alias) Me Gyi and Wai Phyo (alias) Joker in Ward No. 4, Myawaddy at 3:15 pm on 15 February and 3,900 stimulant tablets from Myint Aye (alias) Me Gyi were seized.
At 11 am on the same day, a combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and searched a motorcycle driven by Nyi Nyi Thaw (alias) Nyi Thaw on Thukha Road, Kween Ward, Mawlamyine, resulted in the seizure of 1,550 stimulant tablets.
They are being prosecuted under the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Law, according to the Myanmar Police Force. —MNA
